From the Institute of the Environment to a Big Idea

One Climate began here at the Institute of the Environment in 2016 as a collaborative effort to solve one of the world's biggest problems: climate change. The project has grown, and in 2020 was named one of the six Big Ideas at UC Davis. Our project was chosen because of our interdisciplinary approach and the positive impact One Climate will have on the world. We are proud of this huge accomplishment and hope to continue to grow and create climate solutions for the future.
